What to tell us when you call

A few details let us give you a realistic range on the phone and set up the right visit:

• The address, and whether the house sits on a slab or is raised over a crawl space.
• What you are seeing or smelling, and in which rooms.
• Whether anything has leaked, frozen, flooded or been through a storm, and roughly when.
• If a textured ceiling is involved, about when the house was built, so the ceiling can be tested before anyone touches it.
• What the work is for: an insurance claim, a sale, a landlord or tenant, or your own peace of mind.

Opening hours

The phone is answered Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, and Saturday, 9am to 2pm. Outside those hours, leave a voicemail or fill in the callback form and we will call you back once the line is open again.

If water is still coming in, shut it off at the main valve or the breaker, move what you can off the wet floor, take photos for the insurance claim, and then leave your message. The water damage page explains what to do in the meantime.

What happens after you get in touch

We set up the visit that fits the problem. Where mold needs assessing, an independent assessor inspects and writes the report; where it needs removing, a separate remediation crew does the work, because Louisiana does not allow one company to both assess and remediate mold on the same property.
