Complaints Policy
How to file a complaint about work booked through Shreveport Mold Removal and what happens next.
Last updated: 2026-09-16.
Our commitment
We take every complaint seriously. If a Shreveport home inspection, remediation or water-damage restoration booked through this site does not meet your expectations, we want to hear about it. Complaints are how we improve the work and how we protect other homeowners in Caddo and Bossier Parish.
How to file a complaint
Complaints can be submitted three ways:
- Email: contact@shreveportmoldremoval.com with "COMPLAINT" in the subject line. Include the service address, the date of the work, and a description of the issue.
- Phone: (318) 666-4874. Ask for the person handling complaints. We will log the complaint immediately during the call.
- Written mail: if you prefer paper, request our mailing address by email and we will provide it.
What we do next
When we receive a complaint:
- Acknowledgement. We confirm receipt within two business days.
- Investigation. We review the written scope and any documentation on file, and where necessary schedule a re-inspection of the property to verify the issue.
- Response. We provide a written response within fifteen business days with our findings and any corrective action offered.
- If you are still not satisfied. We will say so in writing, so you have a clear record of what was offered.
Types of complaint we handle directly
- Quality of workmanship on inspection or remediation.
- Communication issues (missed appointments, unreturned calls).
- Billing disputes on quoted vs actual work.
- Concerns about the conduct of anyone who attended the property.
If we cannot resolve it
If we cannot resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you keep every right you have under Louisiana law, and our written response will set out what was offered so you have a record. Call (318) 666-4874 if you need copies of anything on file.
Retaliation
We do not retaliate against complainants. Filing a complaint does not affect our willingness to serve you in the future.
Records
Complaint records are retained for seven years and are available to you on request.
